Welcome to the New Site

Still a few bugs to work out, but the new site is just about ready, thanks to the excellent work by the folks at Inferno New Media.  My blog posts here will consist of news about my activities and whereabouts.

Please help me spread the word about Meltdown, my new book.  I wrote it to help Americans arm themselves with the knowledge they need to refute the blockheads who are doing everything in their power to send us into a deep economic depression.  My publisher has made a free chapter available for download.

The more attention the book can get, the harder it will be for our wise rulers to pretend that the “free market” caused the mess we’re in.

I think all you guys and gals who contribute on Lew’s site should have a site like this. Those who may not stumble across Lew’s site may stumble upon the others somehow. As you’ve said, we have to get the word out!

I’m glad to find this site and your newsletter. It’s been a pleasure promoting your efforts on our March of Liberty radio show. “Who Killed the Constitution” should be a required read and I reference it often. Today listening to you on Glenn Beck’s radio show was a refreshing moment in my day. I can’t wait to get my copy of Meltdown and I know it will become another reference on our weekly show. Eventually I’ll have a shelf for your efforts, thank you!

I just listened to your talk at Penn State via the Mises Institute podcast- Phenomenal. Bravo!

You tied together a host of difficult concepts in a concise, accessible and relatively brief manner.

    Consider me a new fan.

Much better site. Can’t wait to read Meltdown, but at least I’ve already heard your excellent lecture on the Lew Rockwell podcast.

But first, I’ve got to finish my list of Christmas books I requested as you recommended on your (sadly discontinued) internet radio show: Who Killed the Constitution, Reclaiming the American Right, The Revolution, and Hamilton’s Curse. I don’t recommend reading four books like this at once, by the way — talk about a shock to the system.

I put two Woods-related entries on my blog with Amazon links. Last check: 18 clicks and one sale. Hey, it ain’t much but every sale counts right?

I, of course, bought one for myself as well but it hasn’t arrived yet. Can’t wait to read it and congrats on the new site! Drastic improvement.

    Dr Woods,

I just finished ‘Meltdown’. Enjoyed it. I laughed. I cried. It had everything. For those who are not familiar with Austrian economics it is a well-written introduction. For those familiar with the Austrian School, it is a wonderful work of compression and application of economic theory to a contemporary issue.

I look forward to seeing you Friday night in DC.

    Take care,

    Tim
